SIAL Shanghai is organised by Comexposium, the company behind SIAL Paris, and brings international exporters together with Chinese importers, distributors, retailers and e-commerce platforms.
China's olive oil market is small for the size of the country and is supplied mostly by imports, largely bottled and branded. Building those brands with a local importer is the work that starts at fairs like this one.
