Research on production, demand, stocks, trade and prices
Each month the OliveTerm research desk publishes a market report on the olive oil sector: origin prices by grade, the crop and its estimates, stocks and sales, trade flows and the regulation that moves them, and the desk's reading of the months ahead. Every figure is taken from a named source.

August
July's base case is playing out almost to the letter.
July's base case is playing out almost to the letter. After giving back a fifth of its value in three months, Spanish origin has spent four weeks carving a floor in the mid-€340s to €350s, not because buyers came back but because sellers stopped chasing. August's loudest story, the fires, turns out to be the wrong supply story: the drought is the real one. The regulators arrived on both sides of the Atlantic, the market's next appointment is 2 October, and, provided the crop lands in the central band, we see a modest firming toward €370–390/100 kg into the new year.

02·Market Outlook
The desk's view, revised as the market moves
A report is the record of a month. The Market Outlook is the standing view between reports: the desk's 90-day call on the market, the drivers behind it, three conditional scenarios and the releases that could change it. When the evidence crosses a line the desk has drawn, the view is revised, and the revision is dated and explained.

Coverage. The written Outlook covers Spain Extra Virgin Olive Oil, priced as Andalusia bulk at origin, ≤0.8° acidity. Spain Virgin, Spain Lampante, Portugal Extra Virgin, Italy Extra Virgin and Greece Extra Virgin are quoted on the price board, without a written view yet.
How to read it. The direction, the scenarios and their weights are the desk's judgement on the figures it cites, conditional on the drivers it names. They are not a price prediction and not investment advice.
The terminal puts the figures on one screen that you arrange: open any tool from the search, move and resize it, and keep the layout. It opens on your saved workspace every time, in this browser and, signed in, on your account.
It is also where members trade olive oil on the Trade Board and talk with the rest of the sector in the Community.

Three connected components: the monthly Premium Reports and their archive; the Market Outlook, with its drivers, scenarios and dated revisions; and the terminal, with the Trade Board for trading olive oil, the Community's discussions with professionals across the sector, and the workspace for quotations, historical charts, production, consumption and stock data and the Crop Monitor.
How do Premium Reports and the Market Outlook differ?
A report is the record of a month: what moved the market, with its figures and sources, published once and kept in the archive. The Market Outlook is a standing view of the next 90 days that the desk revises whenever the evidence changes, with every revision dated and explained.
How often are reports published and the Outlook reviewed?
The report is monthly: the archive holds 6 reports, from March 2026 to September 2026, with no report for June 2026. The Outlook is reviewed when the market or a scheduled release gives a reason, not on a calendar: 3 dated entries since coverage began on 30 Jul 2026, the latest on 9 Oct 2026.
Which markets are covered?
The reports follow the olive oil market of Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal and the trade between them and their buyers. The written Outlook covers Spain Extra Virgin Olive Oil today; Spain Virgin, Spain Lampante, Portugal Extra Virgin, Italy Extra Virgin and Greece Extra Virgin are quoted without a written view. The terminal quotes origin prices for Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece and Tunisia, with pomace and seed oils, and its Crop Monitor follows 23 regions in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
Can reports be downloaded as PDFs?
Not yet. Reports are read in the browser, with their charts, tables and sources, on any screen. A PDF edition is not available at the moment.
Does the product work on mobile?
Yes. The reports and the Market Outlook read on any screen. On a phone the terminal has a layout of its own, with tabs for prices, the chart, news and the Community and every other tool in its search; arranging widgets side by side needs a larger screen.
What does a free account include?
A free account reads the samples: the public price board, the price chart, the news, the calendar and the Community in the terminal, and the opening of every monthly report and premium insight, with the sample report in full. Every other tool is listed in the terminal and opens with a membership. Nothing is charged and no card is asked for.
What happens during and after the trial?
The trial lasts 7 days with full access. A card is needed to start it. Cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged; otherwise the first payment is taken when the trial ends. One trial per account.
How do renewal and cancellation work?
The membership renews automatically every month or every year, at the price you joined at. Cancel at any time from your account page. Access runs to the end of the period already paid and nothing more is charged.
Will the price change?
Founder prices. Prices will rise as new features arrive; members who join now keep the price they joined at for as long as their membership runs.
What happens if a payment fails?
Your access continues while Stripe tries the card again over the following days, and your account page asks you to update it. If the payment still cannot be taken, the membership ends and the account returns to the free samples; you can join again at any time.
