12–15 May 2027ESJaén, Spain

Starts in 211 days

The olive oil sector's flagship fair: the International Olive Oil and Allied Industries Fair, held every two years in Jaén, the province with the largest olive oil output in the world. The 2027 edition runs 12–15 May at IFEJA, brought forward ahead of Spain's municipal elections.

About Expoliva 2027

Expoliva, in full the Feria Internacional del Aceite de Oliva e Industrias Afines, has been held since 1983 and, since 1997, at the Institución Ferial de Jaén (IFEJA). It is promoted by the Fundación del Olivar and covers the whole chain in one place: growers and co-operatives, mills and packers, harvesting and milling machinery, laboratories, packaging and the services around them. The 2025 edition, the twenty-second, ran from 14 to 17 May 2025.

Alongside the exhibition, the Fundación del Olivar runs the International Scientific and Technical Symposium, the sector's main research forum. For 2027 the twenty-third Symposium starts ahead of the fair, with two days at the Geolit science and technology park, and closes at IFEJA on the fair's opening day. The ExpolivaTech innovation space and the Expoliva quality awards for extra virgin olive oil also run with the fair.

Coming in mid-May, the fair falls when the 2026/27 harvest has been milled and its size is known, while the groves flower for 2027/28: the point in the year when buyers, exporters and equipment suppliers settle contracts and plan the next campaign.
