Olio Capitale 2027

Olio Capitale is organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Venezia Giulia through its in-house company Aries, with the City of Trieste as co-organiser. It mixes trade and consumer days: producers show their oils to Italian and foreign buyers and to the restaurant trade, and the programme carries guided tastings, workshops, talks and seminars on the production areas.

The fair runs its own extra virgin olive oil competition, the Concorso Olio Capitale, whose winners are given a stand at the following edition. It opens the day after the World Olive Oil Exhibition in Madrid closes and ten days after SOL2EXPO in Verona, at the end of the busiest stretch of the olive oil fair calendar.
