Last day for Northern Hemisphere producers to register for the 2027 NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition, which bills itself as the world's largest olive oil quality contest. The date follows the competition's standing timeline; the 2027 calendar has not been published yet.
About NYIOOC 2027: Northern Hemisphere registration deadline
The NYIOOC runs two divisions a year. Northern Hemisphere producers can register until 1 March of the competition year and Southern Hemisphere producers until 1 September. Judging starts as samples arrive, and producers who register before 1 December can ship their samples from January.
Results for the Northern Hemisphere start to be released on 1 April and are published in the Official Guide to the World's Best Olive Oils.
