AICA July stocks and offtake (Spain)
A closing stock below 600 kt with offtake near 90 kt would reinforce the upward case; above 640 kt argues the drawdown is slowing.
Upward if confirmed · the desk's reading
The Agencia de Información y Control Alimentarios publishes Spanish stocks in store and the volume that left mills, co-operatives and packers during the month. It is the highest-frequency read on how fast the surplus is clearing.
At 30 June stocks stood at 683,345 t — 419,283 t at mills, 258,237 t at packers and 5,825 t at the Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero — with campaign offtake of 1,069,660 t, more than 82% of the 1,298,503 t produced. Note the scope: this total includes oil held at packers, so it sits above the mill-level figure carried on the OliveTerm stocks page.
The advance for May was published on 11 June and the June advance on 14 July, so the July reading is due in the second week of August. The date below is inferred from that cadence, not announced.
