About AOVE World Cup 2027: results and awards ceremony
The AOVE World Cup was presented in 2023 and held in 2024, 2025 and 2026. It is a private competition run by Ocio Mudéjar, funded by entry fees and with no prize money. Each category names a champion, a second and a third place, and a title can be left unawarded when no oil reaches the level the jury asks for. In 2026 the World Champion was a Hojiblanca from Carcabuey (Córdoba), and the 2025 title went to Knolive Epicure, from Priego de Córdoba.
Its late-February date puts it among the first international results for the 2026/27 harvest: two days after judging ends at the Los Angeles International EVOO Competition, and ahead of the NYIOOC's Northern Hemisphere results, expected from April.
