La Purísima brings 205 olive-growing members and 3,882 hectares in Puente Genil, where Oleoestepa already has a long-established member.

Oleoestepa has reached 20 member cooperatives following the admission of Cooperativa Vitivinícola La Purísima of Puente Genil, Córdoba. Its General Assembly approved the entry on 29 October, in the year the Estepa-based group celebrates its 40th anniversary.

La Purísima's 205 olive-growing members manage 3,882 hectares, predominantly planted with Hojiblanca. Their cooperative produced an average of 1,837 tonnes of olive oil per season over the four harvests from 2022/23 to 2025/26, according to Oleoestepa's announcement. Founded in 1970, La Purísima also handles table olives and wine.

The addition gives Oleoestepa a second member in Puente Genil. Olivarera Pontanense, whose address is listed in the group's mill directory, joined in 1993.

Oleoestepa, a second-tier cooperative set up in 1986, brings member cooperatives together to market their oil. Until now each of its 19 members ran one mill, and at its September anniversary celebration the group described that network as 19 mills and more than 7,000 olive-growing families across Sevilla, Córdoba and Málaga. La Purísima's 205 growers add under 3% to that membership.
