Türkiye UZZK national harvest forecast 2026/27
A Turkish rebound past 400 kt adds a heavyweight competitor in every bulk market Spain sells into; a second short crop keeps Turkish oil at home and may revive export restrictions.
Conditional if confirmed · the desk's reading
The National Olive and Olive Oil Council (UZZK) convenes a forecast committee across 41 provinces with the Ministry of Agriculture and announces the national estimate in October: the 2025/26 figure of 310 kt of oil (−35% after the 475 kt record) came that way. The date below follows that cadence and is not announced.
Türkiye is the second-largest producer in most campaigns and its surplus travels: with stocks included, more than 500 kt was available for sale in 2025/26. Ankara has also shown it will restrict bulk exports at short notice when domestic prices run, so the size of this crop drives both the competition Spanish oil meets in third markets and the odds of another export-policy swing.
